In 2015, I watched a lot of movies, and it was hard to nail my favourite 5 down as I loved a lot of films this year. However, I did it in the end, so here is my list of my top five movies in 2015.
1. Blended - While watching this film, I could not stop laughing. It is hilarious! My family and I spent quality time together over this comedy whilst laughing (loudly) at the television, which is why it is my top pick. There are many popular actors and actresses in this film, including Adam Sandler, which make this movie even better. I would definetely recommend this film to anyone who hasn't seen it.
2. Mokingjay; Part 2 - The fourth and final installment of the series, I saw this film at the cinemas the day it came out (and spent the majority of the movie crying into my best friends shoulder). J-Law puts on a stunning performance as her role of Katniss Everdeen, and her co-stars, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, definitely lighten up the sad storyline with their good looks. For anyone who hasn't seen this movie (or any of the movies from the series), I would definitely recommend it.
The Duff - My mother and I both read the book before watching the movie, and both were very pleasing and funny at no doubt. The storyline is well put together and makes sure that you are constantly laughing, which is why this film is in my top three.
4. Paper Towns - The book installment, written by John Green, was found online after reading the Fault in our Stars and craving more of his writing. After reading the book (which is amazing), I decided to watch the movie, which features a long list of up and coming actors and actresses. The film taught me a lesson about movies; not all love stories end with the two main characters together. The ending wasn't necessarily sad, but it showed that you don't need a boyfriend or a girlfriend to be happy. What you need is friendship. This film taught me that, and that is why it is on my top 5 list.
5. Insurgent - based on another book series (do you see the theme that is happening here?), I also saw this film at the cinemas with a group of close bookworm friends and my mother, who finds that Theo James (know as “Four” in the film) is quite the eye candy. The second movie installment in the series did not disappoint, and that is why I am recommending it to anybody who hasn't seen it.
Signing out,
five4five xx
